TO 90-ANNIVERSARY OF ALL-RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF SELECTION AND SEED PRODUCTION OF VEGETABLE CROPS (VNIISSOK): HYSTORY, ACHIEVEMENTS, PRIORITIES

The short history of creation of VNIISSOK as leading scientific institute, scientific-methodological and selection centre for Russian Nechernozem’e, coordinator on selection, vegetable seed farming, biotechnology and new non-traditional plants were presented. The scientific and selective achievements of the VNIISSOK were described. The priority directions of scientific investigations and outlooks of selection and seed production were discussed.
