INTERACTION IN THE SYSTEM OF FOOD RESOURCE — Pyrausta sticticalis L. — ENTOMOPATHOGENIC BACTERIUM

The author studied the dependence of Pyrausta sticticalis survival on plants as phytophage`s food resource and also the influence of plants on larval mortality of Pyrausta sticticalis treated with biological insecticide based on Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. Kurstaki. The results obtained testify that the influence of plant as food resource for the phytophagous insect should be taken into account in biological control of Pyrausta sticticalis by bacterial insecticide.
