CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND PHYTOMASS FOOD VALUE OF MIXED SEEDING OF SILO CROPS

V.B. Trots, N.M. Trots

In conditions of Middle Povolzh’e in field experiments the authors compared the phytomass quality in tradition silo and promising for food production crops. The suitability of sowing of maize and sorghum in polyspecific cenosis with amaranth, mallow meluk or annual melilot was shown. Such grass canopy, in contrast to monoculture, permits to increase the yield of digestible protein with 1 hectare to 1.3-2.0-fold and to obtain the phytomass, which has good balance on nutrient substances. In order to obtain a food of high quality, the silo sunflower must be growing in mixture with vetch and oats.

Key words: sunflower, corn, sorghum, digesting protein, chemical composition, phytomass, leaf formation, amaranth, mallow, annual sweetclover, feeding protein concentration, yielding capacity, silage.
