PHYSIOLOGICAL-BIOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTIC OF METABOLIC TYPE OF RUMINANT

The author’s conception of metabolic type of animals is presented. On basis of experimental data, obtained on bulls-calf of the Hereford, Black-and-White and Kholmogorskaya breeds the authors proposed the list of specific features of metabolic type. The main stages were marked in fixed phylogenetically ontogenetic formation of metabolic type of ruminant. The fundamental peculiarities of metabolic type of meat and milk productive directions animals in respect of digestion stages and metabolism were described.
