ESTIMATION OF VOLUMES OF ANTHROPOGENIC EMISSIONS OF METHANE IN RUSSIAN ANIMAL HUSBANDRY

The procedure was developed for the calculations of the methane (СН4) specific emission factor during intestinal fermentation in cows and others species of cattle and also the emission factors from dung storage for cattle and pigs on the basis of annual statistics about consumption by animals of different categories of forage. The annual emission of СН4 in animal husbandry of Rus-sian Federation for 1990-2004 years was calculated.
