ABOUT HYPOTHETICAL MECHANISM OF INDUCTION OF INSULIN BIOSYNTHESIS AND SECRETION IN RUMINANTS

On the basis of own investigations and analysis of the data of literature the authors proposed the hypothetical mechanism of initiation of insulin synthesis and secretion in ruminants, the central moment of which consists in the initial induction of insulin secretion by the activated forms of short chain fatty acids (С3-С8) or glucose, but synthesized not in a liver, as it is now conventional, but directly in a rumen wall.
