QUALITATIVE CHARACTERISTIC OF CORN IN SPRING SOFT WHEAT VARIETIES ON PROGENIES

In experiments, performed in atypical on moistening conditions at the period of forming and ripening of corn, the authors studied the selective value of some spring soft wheat varieties with high potential of dough physical properties on variability and quantitative resulting indices of corn quality in progeny F2. The frequency of appearance of high-quality progenies in hybrid populations was determined. The authors revealed the frequency of occurrence of genotypes in F2 (on plant) in which the content and the quality of gluten satisfy the requirements presenting to strong wheat. It was proved, that the selection in populations on one of this determinants will be conflict with selection on other determinant.
