ADAPTATION OF THE AMERICAN ECOTYPES OF Onobrychis arenaria (Kit.) Ser. IN THE NOVGOROD REGION

The data are represented on investigations of biological characteristics, growth and deve-lopment parameters, morphological characteristics, variability and the correlations between these traits and productivity in Onobrychis arenaria, imported from the United States and adapted to the conditions of the Novgorod region. It is found out that the adapted Onobrychis arenaria plants could produce a large vegetative mass and were more resistant to diseases and unfavorable conditions of the overwintering.
