ROLE OF EXOGENOUS α-TOCOPHERYLQUINONE IN REGULATION OF α-TOCOPHEROL METABOLISM IN PIGS AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF VARIOUS CONTENT OF VITAMIN E IN RATIONS

S.V. Grishchuk

In experiments on the piglets of Landrace х Large White breed the author estimated the physiological-biochemical features of influence of intramuscular injection of exogenous of α-toco-pherylquinone at various content of vitamin E in rations. The exogenous α-tocopherylquinone delays the absorption of α-tocopherol and linoleic acid in small intestine, against the background of heightened vitamin E content, especially. The correlation was revealed between the ratio of associated α-tocopherylquinon to free one and the amount of oleic acid in liver.

Keywords: α-tocoрherol, α-tocoрherylquinone, linoleic acid, stearic acid desaturation, binding with small intestine fragments.
