FEATURE OF HIGH NERVOUS ACTIVITY AND DEVELOPMENT IN DOMINATING AND SUBORDINATING BULLS IN THE HERD

V.I. Barabash1, V.V. Arshinova2

In dominating and subordinating bulls from mixed breed herd in the conditions of scientific-practical experiment (group without leash keeping) the author studied the formation of reflexes and behavior, reflecting a type of high nervous activity (HNA), in connection with growth rate, parameters of sperm production and selection on breed. It was established, that in mixed herd the leaders are the largest and aggressive bulls with desirable for selection strong steady mobile type of HNA and with wide body, solid, delicate constitution. It makes simple the practical selection of animals with desirable type of HNA on their constitution else at the period of growing after regular formation of hierarchy.

Key words: type of higher nervous activity (HNA), the tribe of bulls, sperm, hierarchical rank, the constitution of animals.
