POLYFUNCTIONAL ACTIVITY OF Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner

O.V. Smirnov, S.D. Grishechkina

The results of polyfunctional activity studies of the entomopathogenic bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis which are widely used as the basis for bioinsecticides development are presented. The antifungal and phytostimulatory activity of Bас. thuringiensis Berliner is demonstrated. The spectrum of antifungal activity of Bас. thuringiensis includes Botrytis cinerea, Bipolaris sorokiniana, Fusarium oxysporum etc. The tendencies of creating ecologically safe biopreparations with complex activity based on Bас. thuringiensis are viewed.

Keywords: antifungal activity, polyfunctional activity, Bacillus thuringiensis, phytophathogenic fungi.
