REGULATION OF THE ACTIVITY OF SOIL MICROFLORA BY APPLICATING BIOFERTILIZERS AIMED TO IMPROVE THE SOIL FERTILITY

O.V. Orlova

Under application of biofertilizers, Bamil and Omug, in doses of 1-6 t/ha the yield of egg-plants, potatoes, onion, carrot, beetroot, grasses, barley is increased by 12-284 %. At introducing biofertilizers the soil respiration and active microbial biomass fraction of total biomass were increased, flows of carbon and nitrogen through the microbial biomass were improved; the proportion of fungi in the overall (fungi + bacteria) biomass was decreased. The use of granulated form of biofertilizers as compared to the moist powdery form effects positively the humus conservation because of prolonged release of nutrients and extended period of the excessive activity of soil microbocenosis.

Keywords: soil biological activity, biofertilizers, humus, microbial biomass, soil fertility.
