CREATION OF INTENSIVE APPLE ORCHARDS WITH USE OF DWARF INTERCALATED STOCKS AND VARIETIES IMMUNE TO SCAB

The authors studied the aptitude of two dwarf intercalated stocks (G-134 and 3-17-38) and seven immune to scab apple varieties of selection of All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Fruit Cultures for creation of intensive orchards. It was established that dwarf intercalated stocks weaken greatly a tree growth. The most productivity was in dwarf intercalated stocks of 3-17-38, the number of fruits of first marketable sort in our experiments do not dependent from stock. The most number fruits was in Kandil’ Orlovskii variety — 73.1 %, Bolotovskoe — 71.4 %, Antonovka ordinary — 69.2, Imrus — 63.6.
