L.G. RAMENSKII THEORY ABOUT TYPES OF VITAL STRATEGIES AND ITS IMPORTANCE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF ARID FORAGE RESOURCES

The main principles of L.G. Ramenskii theory about plant’s vital strategies are reviewed; the authors presented the description of violent, patient and explerent species, the significance of their adaptive properties in development and improvement of selection methods of arid forage crops and also the ways of ecological restoration of degrade pasture ecosystems in droughty regions of Russia and Central Asia is discussed.
