CRYOPRESERVATION AND THE USE OF BLASTODERMAL HEN CELLS FOR THE CREATION OF CHIMERAS

On the hens of the Black Australorp, Rhode Island breeds (donors) and the Russian White, White Bantam breed (recipients) the authors studied the possibility of cryopreservation and subse-quent transplantation of pluripotent blastodermal cells to embryos. It was shown that after cryopre-servation and transplantation the 21 % of chicken has chimerical plumage coloration.
