The allelic profiles of new cattle types — Smolensk of Brown Swiss breed and Vazuzovskij of Sychevskaja breed using 13 microsatellites were studied. It was shown that the both types were characterized by high genetic diversity. The mean number of alleles per locus was 7.4 and the heterozygote degree was 73.8 and 69.2 %, respectively. The high genetic consolidation in both types was observed. It was determined that in spite of the new types were genetically closed to the breeds involved into their breeding they have the own unique allelic profiles.

Key words: microsatellite, cattle types, DNA polymorphism.
