INFLUENCE OF TRAINING ON LIPID PEROXIDATION IN SPORTING HORSES
A.V. Antonov
The content of intermediate (diene conjugates) and end (malonic dialdehyde) products of lipid peroxidation (LP) was estimated in blood plasma in sporting triathlon horses of the Budennovskaya and Trakenovskaya breeds at the different stages of annual training cycle, during various loads, at the regimen «rest—work—relaxation». It was established that training loads at the beginning of season promote to an increasing of LP end products, but at the end of season — LP intermediate products. After the work the content of diene conjugates in blood raises only during intensive loads, but the concentration of malonic dialdehyde — almost in all cases. After relaxation LP is usually decreased.
Key words: horses, triathlon, lipid peroxidation, conjugated diens, malon dialdehyde.
