ANTIFUNGAL EFFECT OF Bacillus thuringiensis δ-ENDOTOXIN IN RELATION TO LATE BLIGHT DISEASE OF POTATO IN THE FIELD CONDITIONS AND STORAGE

The effect of various doses of δ-endotoxin of Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. thuringiensis on late blight disease of potato of Nevskiy, Resurs and Ilyinskiy cultivars was assessed in the field (natural infectional background) and storage conditions with determination simultaneously a degree of late blight disease spreading and a degree of damaging action on plants and tubers. δ-endotoxin has a significant effect upon the development of disease, comparable with that of standard chemical fungicides (metamil, ridomil, maxim).
