VARIABILITY AND PATH ANALYSIS OF ELEMENTS OF PLANT PRODUCTIVITY IN F1 HYBRIDS OF BREWER’S BARLEY

M.E. Mukhordova, O.T. Kachur

On the basis of diallel crossing the correlation dependence was studied, and the path analysis was made on elements of plant productivity in F1 hybrids of brewer’s barley. It was established, that correlation between productivity elements is controlling by nuclear-plasma interactions and the conditions during vegetative period. The Omskii 87 variety is consisting of hybrid combinations are of interest of breeding value. The high positive correlation between plant productivity and tilling capacity determines selective importance of this determinant.

Key words: diallel cross, correlation, Path-coefficient analysis, beer barley, reciprocal hybrids, elements of productivity, nucleo-plasmic interactions.
