RESISTANCE OF VARIANTS OF Triticum durum L. TO SOIL SALINIZATION BY SODIUM CHLORIDE

A.Z. Shikhmuradov

In laboratorial and vegetative experiments and also in field conditions the author estimated the resistance to sodium chloride in Triticum durum L. variants of different ecologo-geographic origin from world collection of N.I. Vavilov’s All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Plant Growing. The variants having high tolerance to the salt were crossed with tester of susceptibility. It was shown that hybrids F1 with low level of domination of resistance determinant may be use for creation of homozygous on resistance gene plants in F2.

Key words: genetics of salt tolerance, Triticum durum, NaCl.
