DEVELOPMENT OF THE CUCUMBER PLANTS INFECTED BY TOBACCO MOSAIC VIRUS AFTER THEIR TREATMENT BY FLAVONOID-BEARING CONCENTRATES

O.E. Orazov, V.S. Nikitina

In the conditions of covered soil the authors studied the biological effect of flavonoid-bearing concentrates (FBC) isolated from Geranium pratense L. on the development of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) plants of the Izyashchnyi variety. It was revealed that root watering and leaf sparge, especially, by FBC promote to inhibition of systemic infection into plants induced by ordinary strain of tobacco mosaic virus. The authors revealed also that healthy plants bear harvest sooner than infected plants but untreated by FBC.

Key words: total flavonoid concentrates, tobacco mosaic virus, system virus infection, immunization, Geranium meadow, cucumber.
